Hello to all of you!
Technology is defining every activity of our daily lives in a new form more quickly than ever before. These changes are happening at a very rapid pace and are called disruptive technologies. The field of education is also no exception to this. In today’s environment the digital world is full of lectures, explanations, artificial intelligence tools acting as resources that act like counselors. By writing an essay a student can get an unbiased response to it from ‘chat GPT’. From career to mental health, students can find solutions to their problems through their mobile.
A teacher or student with knowledge of technology is more capable than one who is unaware of it. Now the student does not need to go to school to listen to any lecture. But collaborative projects that teach team spirit, communication skills and critical thinking skills are not possible at home. Additionally, schools also train students to achieve sociability, value and emotional balance.
Although digital learning has many benefits, a major problem is concentration. Students watch many videos, but are unable to reach the heritage of deep study. Therefore we are required to study with concentration both at school and at home —, understanding the current situation. Students must make notes while listening to lectures. One should practice all subjects intensively instead of just watching videos at high speed. Taking full advantage of the classes run by teachers, one should strengthen one’s concepts by studying textbooks in depth. To further strengthen this, Competence Based Questions (CB) can also be practiced online.
With the aim of boosting the capacity of students, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Chennai has prepared a portal named ‘Aarohan (AAROHAN)’. This includes pupils in grades 3 to 12. It is an excellent medium to provide practice opportunities to students for excellent performance in Competency Based Assessment.
Among the many existing options, another new app – ‘ascension’ – we started, yet has received extremely encouraging feedback from students. I appeal to all of you to make good use of this platform and further enhance your critical and creative thinking abilities
Earning knowledge and skills while making good use of the time available. You need to prepare better to ensure your secure future. said — “thousand mile journey also starts with a step.”
Let’s start our learning journey now and spend the next half hour learning!
